PreFlight ORD is a four story parking garage that offers three different parking options:
- Roof top parking - located on the fourth level this is the most economical option
- Economy Covered - Located on floors 2 & 3 this area is covered and the stall are wider than roof top parking
- Premium Covered - located on the ground floor this area is covered and offers the widest parking spaces at O'Hare.
PreFlight Facts: We never close. We are 2.5 miles or 7 - 12 minutes from the airport and our shuttles run every 4 - 6 minutes.
We recommend that you arrive at our facility at least 30 minutes prior to the time that you want to be at the airport.
To enter the facility you can push the button for a ticket or scan your prepaid reservation barcode. If you pull a ticket take it with you (may we suggest to put it in your wallet) so you can pay in the main lobby upon your return.
simply park anywhere on the ground floor and walk to the lobby in the center of the facility. A shuttle will take you and your luggage to the airport every 4 - 6 minutes.
Economy Covered: follow the signs to the ramp up and park on floors 2 or 3. To enter the upper floors please scan your entry barcode at the transition station. Proceed to the elevator lobby and take the elevator down to the ground floor where a shuttle will take you and your luggage to the airport.
Roof Top: parking follow the signs up to the roof scanning your entry bar code to enter floor 2 and floor 4. Proceed to the elevator lobby and take the elevator down to the ground floor where a shuttle will take you and your luggage to the airport.
THE AVERAGE SHUTTLE TIME TO THE TERMINALS IS 7-10 MINUTES.
Domestic terminal arrivals (terminals 1, 2 & 3) - Follow the signs to the Bus/Shuttle Center. You can use the underground climate controlled route by following the signs to the Bus/Shuttle Center. Please go to Door 1 of the Bus/Shuttle Center. If you arrive between Midnight and 8:00 AM please call for pick up. All other times a bus will arrive every 4 - 6 minutes.
International terminal arrivals (terminal 5) - Please call 847-678-9234 for pick up once you clear customs. Proceed to the lower level outer curb outside door 5E for pick up.
The shuttle bus will return you to the ground floor lobby. You can pay using one of the pay stations in the main lobby or you can pay at the exit using the in-lane pay station. To pay scan your entry bar code then scan your frequent parker card (optional) then scan any coupons or vouchers then insert a credit card to pay (one of the pay stations in the main lobby accepts cash). If you paid in the main lobby be sure to take your paid ticket with you to scan to get down from the upper floors and to exit.
Wheel Chair Accessible Shuttles:
Please call at least 24 hours before you arrive at our facility so that we can have a wheel chair accessible vehicle ready to take you to the airport.
